Wolf Trap Animal Rescue
Adoption Fees
Puppies.
$525
Puppies < 2 years of age
Puppies & dogs under the age of 2 years are still early in their training and haven’t fully developed their personality and mature characteristics. They can vary in sizes and temperaments, and they can be great for adopters looking to grow and evolve with their new pet through all life’s stages and journeys together.
Adult Dogs.
$485
Dogs > 2 years of age
Dogs over the age of 2 years are finished growing and have generally matured into their personality. These pets often excel with training and are great for adopters looking for a more mature pet. Our fosters work to learn as much as possible about each dog’s qualities and habits so you can see which dog works best for your lifestyle.
Cats & Kittens.
$225
All cats and kittens through WTAR reside in foster homes, and they are socialized and litterbox trained from the time they arrive in foster care. Our cats & kittens range in all colors, sizes, breeds, and ages!

Please note: As of February, 2021, We do not test for FeLV/FIV in adoptable cats/kittens. WTAR has similar research results among adoptable pets as Washington Humane Alliance, therefore we follow the same policies in regards to retroviral testing at Washington Humane.
